Bernie Sanders On ‘The View’: Donald Trump Jr.’s Emails Are Not “Politics As Usual”

On Wednesday, Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-VT, told "The View" that Don Trump Jr.'s emails with Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya are "very strong evidence" of possible Russia collusion and aren't "politics as usual." Although Sanders said politics is always "ugly" and this attempt to destroy candidates personally went too far: SEN. BERNIE SANDERS: Presidential candidates do not have email chains with foreign governments who are talking about how they can elect you and have dirt on your opponent. That is a clear violation of campaign finance law… It is not true that this is politics as usual. This is very, very unusual. And that is why these investigations are taking place… What is important is that every American, whether they're conservative or progressive, you like Trump, you don't like Trump — that they believe this process is objective and it is fair. That it is methodical.

Whoopi Goldberg To Trump: Obama Was Treated “More Unfairly” By Media

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, THE VIEW: I did want to point out – and there have been a couple who have been perhaps treated more unfairly or as unfairly. Let's talk about, I don't know, Barack Obama… And I make this point specifically about this man who for almost six years, seven years, insisted [Obama] wasn't an American, didn't have America's best values in mind because he wasn't born here, that he was a Muslim. All propagated by this guy. I figure, you have been in less than — maybe what — 120 days? And you think it's rough now? This guy went through it for eight years, and came out still a man I'm proud, whether you like what he did, I'm proud of him.

Warren: Donald Trump And Kim Jong Un Both “Unstable Men With Nuclear Weapons”

On Wednesday's edition of 'The View' on ABC, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) equated U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un as "unstable men who [have] nuclear weapons." "What could possibly go wrong?" she joked. GOLDBERG: So basically, what is going on with Korea? Because Kim Jong il deux who I call Kim Jong yum-yum… BEHAR: We call him yum-yum here. GOLDBERG: They make only armaments. They just make bombs and stuff. What should be happening and why isn't it happening? WARREN: So we know that he is an unstable man who has nuclear weapons. BEHAR: You're talking about Trump now. WARREN: About to deal with an unstable man who has nuclear weapons. What could possibly go wrong? This is a country that is supported by China. That is the only way that this dictatorship stays propped up. And so the way we're going to get a solution here is that we got to deal with the Chinese government, and we have to find a way for the Chinese government to deal with Korea so that we can de-escalate what's happening in that part of the world. That really is our only chance in the area. Via Breitbart Video

Actor Patrick Stewart: I’m Applying For U.S. Citizenship To “Fight” And “Oppose” Trump

Actor Patrick Stewart told The View on Thursday that he plans on applying for U.S. citizenship to help "fight" President Donald Trump. "I am not a citizen," Stewart told the ladies of The View panel. "However, there is, maybe it's the only good thing, as the result of this election: I am now applying for citizenship. Because I want to be an American, too." "All of my friends in Washington said, 'There is one thing you can do. Fight, fight, oppose, oppose,'" Stewart said. Had the worst sleep of my life last night. But I was sleeping less than 300 yds from where Donald Trump sleeps. Could there be a connection?— Patrick Stewart (@SirPatStew) February 10, 2017
