In this edition of 'The Resistance,' Keith Olbermann calls on the foreign intelligence services "of what is left of the free world," including Britain's GCHQ and MI-6, German, French, Australian, and Russian intelligence agencies, and international journalists to hear his plea: "We the citizens of the United States of America are the victims of a coup. We need your leaks. Your information, your intelligence, your recordings, your videos, your conscience." About the president, Olbermann said Trump is an "amoral cynic," whose "madness is genuine." "The civilian government and the military are no longer in the hands of the people," Olbermann explained solemnly. "Nor under the control of any responsible individuals on whom you can rely." He referred to the CIA director as a "political appointee" and said the the National Security Adviser was a "Russian stooge." "Our State Dept. is in the hands of useless amateurs, our U.N. mission is bereft of power and uninformed. And the White House is run by a cabal of an amoral family syndicate that has spent its first three months slapping a dollar sign on anything that stood still long enough," he continued. "Through our own negligence, the resentments and stupidities of millions of us, and the boundless greed of our elite class, our democracy has all but slipped away from us," he said. "It hangs today by a thread." "Whatever evidence you may have, you can not conceal it any longer," Olbermann begged GCHQ, which is rumored to have a "dossier" on President Trump's connections to Russia.
