Kudlow: It’s Fake News to Claim Trump Is Under Investigation

CNBC host Larry Kudlow talks about claims that President Trump is under investigation for any reason with NewsMax's Steve Malzberg. LARRY KUDLOW: There's so much conflation and confusion here. At no point has anyone said that this investigation — about Russia and the election — had anything to do with Donald Trump. Now, I've heard reporters say Trump is being investigated. They are wrong. No one has said that. So far as the Watch the rest of the interview below; letter to Comey, Trump says several times I'm not being investigated. We don't know exactly what is meant by that… No one has ever said… the original New York Times story… it might have been the 17th paragraph, they said Trump was not involved. It was his people, Flynn, Paul Manafort, and so forth, but he has never been. There is no evidence he was ever involved… You will get reporters — This really get my blood hot, they're saying it's an investigation of Trump and now he's trying to cover it up by firing Comey. That is simply incorrect. That is fake news, period. Watch the rest of the interview below:

Roger Stone: Jim Comey Was “Becoming A Little J. Edgar Hoover”

President Trump's friend and off-the-record adviser Roger Stone talks to NewsMax's Steve Malzberg about a report from CNN's Gloria Borger this morning that a certain "flamoyant individual" matching his description had recommended the firing of FBI director James Comey to the president. Stone is under possible scrutiny from the FBI over his role in the election.
The Roger Stone report on @CNN is false – Fake News. Have not spoken to Roger in a long time – had nothing to do with my decision.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 10, 2017 "I am not the source of either the Politico or the CNN stories, although reporters at those outlets have told me they have miltiple sources," Stone said. "It has always been my policy not to comment on any conversation I may or may not have with the president, because if the president can't count on confidentiality, well I'm smart enough to know that any conversation I had with the president would soon end." About Comey, he said: "I strongly support the action the president has taken. Mr. Comey has become a selective prosecutor, as it were, investigating the things he wants to investigate, ignoring egregious crimes by the Clintons. He was becoming a little J. Edgar Hoover, a power unto himself, not responsive to the executive and the Congress. I really think we got to a point where the president couldn't trust him, and he fired him." According to Politico, "Stone declined to comment Tuesday night but said he was enjoying a fine cigar."
